Tuesday Tune-Up runs all month in June every Tuesday. This is a chance for the locals and visitors to vote between two bands to determine which one will perform at the Oregon Jamboree this August in Sweet Home. Join us for the event on Long St in Sweet Home, and please say hello.
Star Gazers, did you know that the moon is in an elliptical orbit? Most celestial bodies form these types of orbits around each other, and in that process, there are times when they are a maximum away from each other. Thursday was the Apogee of the moon. That’s a fancy way of saying further in its orbit. So it may look smaller than average this weekend. Mark your calendars for the June Bootids meteor shower on Tuesday the 27th.
