Tuesday Tune-Up runs all month in June every Tuesday. This is a chance for the locals and visitors to vote between two bands to determine which one will perform at the Oregon Jamboree this August in Sweet Home. Join us for the event on Long St in Sweet Home, and please say hello.
Star Gazers might be interested to hear that we had an extremely close call with a meteor last night at approximately 9PM. Measuring between 3.5 meters and 8.5 meters feet across, it came within 3600 kilometers from the southern tip of Africa. That is only 1/4 of the diameter of the planet. It came closer to the planet than some of our satellites. You can read about it here.
