Covid numbers are on the rise with Linn County at 4.4% and Lane County at 2.3% this week. The weather is warming, and vaccines are getting distributed. The risk categories do not change until 14 days in a new per 100,000 case distribution. Generally, that is <50 puts the county in low risk (green on the chart), and less than 5% positivity rate. The other milestones that change risk factors are 100 for moderate, 200 high and >200 extreme per 100,000 residents. Looking at the percent positivity rate, these factors should be changing for most of the state in the next two weeks. Linn county is placing in the high-risk category, while Lane has been in the lower risk category for the last few weeks, and trends to stay in that category..
